Reboot McGill is a unit of the McGill Office of Sustainability, as well as a registered club under the EUS (Engineering Undergraduate Society), and works in close partnership with the McGill Waste Management Program, the McGill School of Computer Science, and the McGill Office of Sustainability.
Our team consists of a small group of student members who work very hard to attend to every request in a timely manner. Reboot McGill was founded in 2010, donating over 70 computers back to the McGill Community within it’s first year alone! We hold annual donation drives, where anyone can drop off their used electronics for restoration or recycling. We accept equipment at any time of the year and encourage you to contact us or visit in person during our office hours (displayed on our home page). All data in donated hardware is totally eliminated, employing appropriate data destruction methods to ensure your sensitive information is securely erased.
On an informal basis we may also help students who need support or answers to their information technology questions.
